The aluminum plating process of plastic film generally adopts the direct plating method, that is, the aluminum layer is directly plated on the surface of the substrate film. BOPET, BOPA film substrate aluminum plating without surface treatment, can be directly steamed plating. However, BOPP, CPP, PE and other non-polar plastic films should be corona treated or coated with adhesive layer before evaporation, so that the surface tension of the film can reach 38-42 dyne/cm or have good adhesion. When steaming, put the reel film in the vacuum chamber and close the vacuum chamber for vacuuming. Adjust the UNWINDING speed, winding speed, wire feeding speed and evaporation, open the cooling source, so that the aluminum wire in the evaporation boat continuous melting, evaporation, so that the surface of the moving film after cooling to form a layer of bright aluminum layer is aluminum plating film.
Principle of vacuum evaporation
Crucible was heated to make the high purity aluminum wire melt at 1200℃ ~ 1400℃ and evaporate into gaseous aluminum. The base material (tube) was placed in the vacuum steaming machine and vacuumized by a vacuum pump to make the vacuum in the coating reach 1.3×10-2 ~ 1.3×10-3Pa. Gaseous aluminum particles deposited on the surface of moving film substrate and reduced by cooling form a continuous and bright metal aluminum layer. By controlling the evaporation rate of metal aluminum, the moving speed of the film substrate and the vacuum degree of the coating chamber to control the thickness of the aluminum coating layer, the general thickness of the aluminum coating layer is 25 ~ 500nm, the width of the aluminum coating film is 800mm ~ 2000mm.
